About the Project

For years I’ve been drawn to the quiet resilience of Bali’s traditional salt farmers. Their work is physically demanding and deeply rooted in generational knowledge — often carried out by elderly men who still move with purpose and pride. This short documentary is my personal tribute to a disappearing craft. I followed one of these farmers through his daily routine, capturing the rhythm, texture, and humanity of a tradition that feels both fragile and timeless.
