About the Project

Laowa Sunlight Launch is a brand campaign created to showcase Laowa’s newly released 2x anamorphic Sunlight lenses. Shot in Bali, the project explores the lenses’ character, flares, and cinematic rendering through a short documentary narrative following a local family and their love for flying kites by the sea. By blending technical lens testing with an intimate human story, the film highlights how these lenses perform in real-world, story-driven filmmaking environments.
